Donate To The Melrose Library Association

Maximize Your Impact

Every contribution makes a meaningful difference for our library and community. Whether you are giving to a specific project or general support, here are a few helpful tips to ensure your gift goes as far as possible:

• Save on Fees with a Check: While we appreciate support in any form, mailing a check helps us avoid credit card processing fees. This means ‭$100%‬‭‬ of your donation goes directly toward your chosen cause!
• Designate Your Gift: Please make sure to clearly note which project you wish to support (such as the Building Fund, Pony Pack or Memorial Fund) on your check memo line or donation form. This ensures your generosity is directed exactly where you intend.

Thank you for your incredible support and thoughtfulness!

Library Expansion

Why We Are Expanding

As our community grows, our current space is no longer big enough to host large-scale Adult Enrichment and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) programs. Updating and expanding our facility will allow us to offer more engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for all ages.
Donations are fully tax-deductible. If you would like to support the project, please mail a check payable to the Melrose Library Association (with "Building Fund" noted in the memo line) to:

Blooming for Our Future: The Annual Camellia Sale

Looking to add some vibrant color to your garden while supporting a wonderful local cause? The Melrose Library Association (MLA) proudly hosts its Annual Camellia Sale—a cherished community tradition dedicated entirely to raising funds for our library expansion and renovation project.
Every plant purchased directly contributes to creating the larger, modern facility our community needs to grow, learn, and gather. Keep an eye out for our announcements on upcoming sale dates, and join us in helping our library—and your garden—blossom!

The Pony Pack Program

No child should go hungry—or go without a good book! The Pony Pack program provides weekend food supplies for children in need at Melrose Elementary School, ensuring they have the nourishment they need when school is out.

Sparking a Love of Reading

The Melrose Library Association (MLA) is proud to partner with this wonderful initiative. Once a month, we make sure each child's backpack includes a special, age-appropriate book to inspire a lifelong love of reading and learning at home.

Honoring a Loved One: Memorial Gifts

Create a lasting tribute that gives back to our community. In lieu of flowers, consider honoring the memory of a loved one with a memorial donation to the Melrose Library Association.
Your gift helps our library continue to grow and serve the community in ways your loved one cherished. To make a memorial contribution, please speak with our friendly library staff to obtain a memorial gift form.
Thank you for choosing to celebrate a special legacy through the gift of reading and community enrichment.

Leave a Lasting Mark: Commemorative Bricks

Have you noticed the custom-engraved bricks lining our walkways and the Butterfly Garden? The Melrose Library Association (MLA) offers an ongoing commemorative brick project—a wonderful way to honor a loved one, celebrate a special milestone, or recognize someone special.

• Donation: $75 minimum per brick

• Customization: Up to 3 lines (maximum 11 characters, spaces, and punctuation per line)

• How to Order: Pick up an order form inside the library today!
